Mr. Whitmore earned his undergraduate degree at Princeton University, graduating with honors in History. He then completed an MBA at Harvard Business School, where his studies focused on international markets and emerging asset classes.
Early in his career, Mr. Whitmore joined Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management division in New York. There, he distinguished himself by advising multi-generational families on portfolio strategy and values-based investing. After a decade at Morgan Stanley, he accepted a role at Christie’s Hong Kong, where he oversaw strategic acquisitions and private sales in the Asian art market.
These experiences gave Mr. Whitmore a rare blend of global financial insight and an intuitive understanding of the art and collectibles world. He recognized a need for a family office that would combine the rigor of institutional finance with a truly personal approach to legacy preservation.
